The mission of United Methodist Church is to make disciples for the transformation of the\nworld, just following the great commission of Jesus: \u00abmake disciples of all nations, baptizing\nthem in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey\neverything I have commanded you\u00bb (Mathew 28:19-20). Jesus Christ spent three years teaching\nhis disciples. His first disciples were making other disciples. All christians nowaday are the\ndisciples making disciples. The structure of the church, ministry of committees and councils are\ndesigned to help the church to fulfil this commission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year the appointments, councils and committees are reviewed to insure a positive change\nfor bringing growth and development in the areas of evangelism, education, management and\nsocial ministries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The appointments and decisions made at the 2019 Annual Conferences came into effect in September 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natalia Prokhorova has finished her term as a District Superintended of Volga District and\ncontinues to serve as a pastor of Samara UMC.She was also appointed to be a Director of Discipleship in Eurasia UMC. She is now responsible\nfor management, creation and publishing study materials on Bible, Christian teachings,\nMethodist beliefs. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It is crucial to make our teachings comprehensible and encouraging not only\nfor experienced ministers, but also for new Methodists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newly ordained District Superintendent of Volga District \u2013 Alexander Vechersky. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the years, Alexander has had wide experience of DS ministry in the Ural district, he also serves as a pastor of Satka UMC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

During this year, Oleg Starodubets was supervising Central Asia District and the conferences of\nUkraine and Moldova. Now they newly appointed District Superintendent of Central Asia is Dmitriy Lysin. Dmitriy continues to serve as a local pastor of Kainda UMC, Kirgizstan. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Irina Margulis continues to serve as a Director of Church and Society ministry.Moreover, starting this fall, Irina Margulis coordinates the ministry for people with disabilities.\nWe plan to serve people and care for their needs. There are many volunteers who serve handicapped people in the churches of Voronezh, Stavropolskiy Krai, Nothern Osetia, Crimea,Volga district and in the other regions of Eurasia. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
