PILGRIMAGE AND CATECHISM CENTER CRISTAL

Pilgrimage and Catechism Center “Crystal” was bought by the Eurasia United Methodist Church in 2003 on the charity money gathered and donated by the German children.Camp “Crystal” is the unique place for the Eurasia Methodists where Christians and non-Christians may have rest and various Christian activities.The Camp is situated in the picturesque forest zone on the banks of one of the cleanest rivers, the river Usmanka, 20 miles away from Voronezh. The wood zone is a mixed forest reserve. It is a quiet and beautiful place where you can meet wild elks and deer.The water in the Usmanka river is so clean that water lilies blossom all the summer and make the place more attractive. The climate of the Middle Zone is the best for the rest of the people of all ages.There is a three-story brick building, a lot of log cabins and a large two-story building with a dining hall and a conference hall for worship services. Camp “Crystal” may accommodate 200 people at a time in spring, summer and autumn and 100 people in winter.Last two years many Christian events were held here: Annual Conferences, Theological Seminary sessions, United Methodist Women Conferences and Youth Summer Vacation Camps. All in all 1,500 people took part in the programs and had rest in Camp “Crystal”.

We hope to run different programs for children, youth and women, clergy and lay leaders, for believers and unbelievers. Camp “Crystal” has a great potential for the Eurasia United Methodist Church growth.

Still much work has to be done in the Camp “Crystal”: many houses need restoration. So we ask you to support us by your help, your experience and your prayers! We invite people called Methodist for cooperation and partnership.

OUR PLANS:
- Different programs for health support of children
- Christian youth camps for believers and unbelievers
- Rehabilitation center for women abused in the family
- Help to refugees
- Children vacation camps where they can hear the Good News about Jesus as well as get the information about the preventing from AIDS, drugs and alcohol addiction
- Children and youth Christian vacation camps for the children living in orphanages coming out of juvenile prisons, and for the kids from the alcohol addicted families.
